How to Play
Use WASD or arrow keys to move your egg character. Aim with your mouse and left-click to fire your weapon. Press Space to jump and Shift to sprint. Shell Shockers.io is the perfect blend of silly and serious! The egg theme had me laughing at first, but the gameplay is legitimately good. The controls are responsive, and the different egg classes add a nice layer of strategy. I mainly play as the Free Ranger (sniper) and love picking off enemies from a distance. The Capture the Spatula mode is my favorite - it leads to some intense standoffs and last-second saves. The community is generally friendly, and matches are quick to find. My only suggestion would be to add more maps, as the current rotation can get repetitive after a while. If you're looking for a fun FPS that doesn't take itself too seriously, this is egg-xactly what you need!
This game cracks me up every time I play it! The egg puns alone are worth checking it out, but the gameplay is surprisingly solid too. I appreciate how accessible it is - you can jump in and start having fun immediately without a steep learning curve. That said, there's definitely skill involved in mastering each egg class. The Scrambler is versatile for beginners, but I've been having a blast with the Whipper and its close-range combat style. The maps are well-designed with good sight lines and plenty of cover options. Performance is smooth even on my older laptop, which is a huge plus. For new players: try all the classes before settling on a main, as they each offer very different playstyles!
