How to Play
Use WASD or arrow keys to move your character through the wasteland. Left-click to attack enemies or interact with objects, and right-click to use special abilities. Press E to pick up items and resources found throughout the environment. Access your inventory with I and the crafting menu with C. Monitor your health, hunger, thirst, and radiation levels displayed on the HUD - all of these factors affect your survival. Scavenge abandoned buildings for supplies, hunt mutated creatures for food, and collect materials to craft better equipment. Build and fortify your base to have a safe place to rest and store your resources. Remember that some areas have high radiation levels - craft protective gear before venturing into these zones!

Heroes of the Wasteland captures the post-apocalyptic survival experience perfectly! The atmosphere is incredibly immersive - from the desolate landscapes to the eerie sounds that keep you on edge. I've been playing as the Engineer class, which is great for crafting and base building. The crafting system is deep but not overwhelming, with a good progression of items that feels rewarding. My survival tip: prioritize finding a water purifier early on, as clean water is harder to come by than food. The mutated creatures get progressively more challenging as you venture further from your starting area, which keeps the combat interesting. My only criticism would be that the inventory management can get a bit cumbersome when you've collected a lot of resources.
This game offers a great balance between action, exploration, and survival mechanics. The Scout class has been my go-to for its stealth abilities and resource detection, which makes scavenging much more efficient. I love how the day/night cycle affects gameplay - nighttime brings out tougher enemies but also offers better loot opportunities if you're brave enough. The base building aspect is surprisingly detailed, allowing you to create a truly personalized sanctuary in the wasteland. For new players: don't neglect your radiation protection gear, as radiation sickness will drain your stats over time. Also, exploring the abandoned military bunkers is risky but yields the best technology components for advanced crafting. Overall, it's one of the most engaging survival games I've played in a browser!
