Look for clues in the environment that hint at solutions to puzzles. Pay attention to patterns in traps and obstacles to time your movements correctly. Collect items that might be useful later - some puzzles require specific objects to solve. Save points are available throughout levels, so make sure to activate them when you see them. If you get stuck, try looking at the situation from a different angle or backtrack to see if you missed something important. Remember that timing is crucial in many situations, so observe enemy and trap patterns before attempting to pass them.
Comments
The puzzle design in this game is really clever! I especially loved the water valve sequence in level 3 - it took me a while to figure out the correct order. The story is surprisingly engaging for a browser game too. I found myself genuinely concerned about what would happen to Aidan next. Has anyone found all the hidden collectibles in level 4? I'm still missing two of them.
The controls feel really responsive which is important for a game with precise platforming sections. That timed sequence in the factory level was intense! Took me several attempts to get the timing right. One small criticism - I wish there were more checkpoints in the longer levels. Having to restart from the beginning after making it almost to the end can be frustrating. Overall though, it's a great game with a good balance of puzzles and action.
I love how this game combines different gameplay elements! The puzzles make you think, the platforming tests your reflexes, and the story keeps you motivated to see what happens next. The art style is simple but effective, and the animations are smooth. For those stuck on the dark cave level - use the glowing mushrooms as a guide and time your jumps with the bat movements. Can't wait to see if they make a sequel!
